Gramoday

Epiroc Gramoday Program focuses on Rural Development. It aims to create sustainable model villages by ensuring the availability of all basic amenities at village level. This will be enabled through the construction of public infrastructure at villages including public lighting by installation of solar lights, construction of roads, public toilets, play grounds, support to build houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, etc. By preparing village resource centres, we look to strengthen the Gram panchayat, form new village level committees, self-help groups of women, capacity building of youth and putting an effort to create and encourage more local leadership. This will help them lead their village towards development on their own even after completion of project.
