The blowdown valve upgrade is a component which can be added to existing surface drilling equipment running the Reverse Circulation (RC) system. It provides added functionality to allow for continuous and trouble free operation while drilling in challenging conditions.
When actuated the blowdown valve allows the operator to clear the inner tube or drill bit blockages and/or clear material from the drill hole without turning off the drilling air or disconnecting the drill string.
