The PAR1-K Bolt is a Ø20 mm, push in, end-anchored yielding bolt for the absorption of energy in squeezing and dynamic ground conditions.
The PAR1-K Bolt is pushed into a pre-grouted hole of the correct length, activating the wedge against the distal end of the hole. The nut is then rotated to give up to a 35 kN pre-load through the mesh onto the surface of the excavation. The PAR1-K Bolt includes two unique paddle sets that maximize load bearing capacity once the encapsulating grout has set. The proximal paddle set reduces overall face plate load by transferring load into the surrounding rock mass.
