Lower running costs - increased productivity
The BUT MD boom enables lower runnig costs, thanks to outstanding torsional rigidity and stiffness. The upgraded boom telescope will improve drilling precision, positioning speed between holes, crosscut drilling and reduce over- and underbreak, leading to an overall boost in productivity.
Top mounted feed
The BUT MD boom features a top-mounted feed, giving an improved coverage area and reduced dead zone.
Durable and strong hydraulic cylinders
The hydraulic cylinders in both rear tripod and front knuckle has been upgraded for higher durability and performance.
Optimized hose routing
The hose routing on the BUT MD boom has been optimized to minimize interference. This improves hose life and reduces down time and service cost.
Boom telescope bearings
The BUT MD boom features a new boom telescope bearings design with larger bearing surface. This means improvements in performance, durability and precision.
