The FOGLight (Fall Of Ground) indicator is an early warning device designed to detect and warn mining crews of displacement in the rock above, helping to prevent losses and providing a safer work environment underground. The FOGLight is simple to install and manufactured from tough materials.
Once installed, the FOGLight flashes a green LED to indicate it is in the monitoring mode. Should ground movement between the two ends of the FOGLight exceed the factory set trigger limit, the green LED is replaced by a rapidly flashing amber LED.
