Universal brackt for the ER 1500 and ER 1700 drum cutter
ER 1500 with universal bracket
Universal bracket mounted on the drum cutter
Hoses exit from the rear, directly below the excavator arm, in line with the excavator hydraulic connections so they are not subject to the same mechanical stresses as hoses exiting brackets on the side. Protected by the arm and located in the center of the drum cutter, hoses are less likely to get snagged or suffer abrasive wear by rubbing on the side of the trench. As a result, operating costs are lower through longer hose life and reduced downtime.
With integrated water jets, the universal bracket is equipped with a dust suppression system ready to meet current and future demands for healthy working environments in tunneling, demolition, renovation and trenching applications. A connection for the water supply is fitted as standard.
To prevent premature motor failure due to dirty hydraulic oil, a high-pressure filter can be installed in the pressure line in the Universal Bracket as an optional extra.
The universal bracket can be supplied with the case drain connected to the return line through an additional valve. This eliminates the need for a third hydraulic hose so that the drum cutter can be used with two hoses connected to pressure and return lines in the auxiliary circuit.
