Temporary surcharge on international transportation prices

As is the case in most industries, Epiroc is currently faced with soaring transport costs as the COVID19 global pandemic continues to put unbelievable pressure on the global supply chain. Both inbound and outbound transport charges have increased significantly, irrespective of the transport method used – be it land, sea or air.

As a result it has become necessary to implement a temporary transportation surcharge of 1.4% on all new orders, effective September 7. Although this action is temporary, we are unable to predict when transport charges are likely to stabilize, and can therefore not commit to an end date at this stage.

We are, by means of this communication, advising of these new charges effective today. Please reach out to our customer care team if you have any specific questions in this regard.
