Get to know: Alveera Fatima

Alveera’s career path wasn’t always set in data. In fact, she once dreamed of becoming a baker. But it was her father’s journey—from Head of IT in Dubai to retraining in data analytics after moving to Australia—that sparked her own interest in turning numbers into something meaningful.

Today, she works as a Data & Reporting Analyst supporting the Sales team at CR Powered by Epiroc, where she builds automated Power BI reports, transforms data into actionable insights, and helps teams make better decisions every day.

A typical day for Alveera involves updating CRM data and working closely with sales teams to ensure smooth integration into live dashboards. One standout achievement was the first dashboard she created for the Customer Service team—originally for a small group, but now widely used across the business, including by Account Managers presenting to mine site teams.

That kind of visibility and impact fuels her motivation and affirms her place as a trusted contributor to the team.

Outside of work, Alveera loves trying new experiences—like skydiving—and is known among friends for her signature Chicken Biryani.
