Epiroc's Geotechnical Customer Training Day success

Epiroc’s Customer Open Day proved to be a very successful and interesting training day for all their geotechnical customers who attended the new Grangemouth premises in Scotland.

GB70 RDT Open Day S Geobor presentation
Epiroc started its’ move from their locations in Stirling to the new 4020 sq m premises in Grangemouth during the Summer. The premises now houses Epiroc’s service facilities, international geotechnical drilling team, the UK & Ireland geotechnical sales department, customer services and distribution.

The Open Day provided Epiroc customers with presentations, demonstrations and 1 to 1 discussions on a number of geotechnical applications including S Geobor, muds and fluids, overburden drilling and large diameter drilling. There were geotechnical exhibition displays showing a sample of our T-Wiz, Powerbit and hand-held range, mobile mud cleaning equipment as well as a large diameter display. The Terracore coring bit range was shown including a cut-out cross-section of the S Geobor core barrel to illustrate the mechanism inside the core barrel when using the different methods. Our experts were on hand after their presentations to chat to and go through the customer’s particular requirements or questions regarding product application and selection.

"Our idea was to invite our customers to a geotechnical product training day from our product specialists and also take the opportunity to welcome our customers to our impressive new premises in Grangemouth. It was great to meet and interact with over 40 customers and to receive such positive feedback from them on the quality of the training they received and our new premises. We were very pleased with the day."
