Jet-Enhanced Configuration

The Jet-Enhanced is an excellent choice when you need longer bit life. With its higher crown with increased diamond impregnation, bit life is extended, and bit replacement can be reduced. The Jet Enhanced configuration is an option that can be selected with almost any core bit.

Instead of bridges, the Jet-Enhanced features reinforced segments and a reduced cutting surface for freer cutting. The Jet-Enhanced is optimized for reduced water consumption and features good ejection of fluids and cuttings. It’s a crown option that is ideal for use in broken ground conditions and is available in the following heights:

Jet-Enhanced 13 mm

The 13 mm option is excellent when harsh drilling conditions require more segment strength.

This configuration is available for all matrices from Fordia.

Jet-Enhanced 16 mm

The Jet-Enhanced is a great choice for deep hole drilling when core bit replacement needs to be reduced. This configuration is available for all matrices from Fordia.

Jet-Enhanced 20 mm

When the 16 mm is simply not enough, the Jet Enhanced 20 mm is the perfect configuration. It is available for all matrices from Fordia.

Jet-Enhanced 26 mm

The Jet-Enhanced 26 mm is a specialized configuration for drilling operations that require optimized bit performance to improve productivity. The Jet-Enhanced is available for selected matrices offered by Fordia.

Diamond drilling is all about productivity. Drillers and the companies they work for are all interested in finding ways to increase productivity. Sometimes, one major issue will have a negative impact on drilling productivity, and fixing it is all it takes. Sometimes, productivity is improved by tweaking a bunch of little things. If you adjust several things, the results can make a big difference. So this blog looks at 8 tips for increasing your productivity.

Waiting for new drilling equipment can take longer than usual these days. Supply chains everywhere are being negatively impacted by external events far more frequently than ever before. Disruptive events, like the recent pandemic, are causing potential disruption to business activity and the drilling and mining industries are not immune. Delays are now common for drilling equipment especially those made with steel, such as drill rods, inner and outer tubes, etc.
