A more collaborative workspace for Epiroc South Africa
Following the split from Atlas Copco, the customer centre found its teams dispersed across three different floors of the 6 000m2 head office building. The layout did not contribute to collaboration, and some departments were out-of-the-way and isolated. Consequently, the customer centre took on the ambitious project of renovating the top floor of the building to accommodate all colleagues based at the head office.
The renovated space includes vibrant, colourful work stations; a new training centre; more collaborative meeting spaces; as well designated areas to take private calls and participate in virtual meetings. Modernised pause areas now facilitate conversation and getting to know one's colleagues better.

"The office space has created excitement, and I'm confident we'll see a lot more collaboration in the customer centre. I strongly believe that this renewed team spirit will translate into a better experience for our customers."
