Epiroc expands Wearpact range with new Wearpact Light for Scooptram ST7 and ST1030 loaders
"Wearpact has delivered proven field performance for more than 20 years, and Wearpact Light is the next evolution, engineered specifically for 7T and 10T machines to provide the same reliability in a lighter, leaner package.
With Wearpact Light, underground operations can further enhance the performance of Epiroc’s high-productivity Scooptram loaders by improving dig penetration and reducing bucket wear on smaller LHDs."
Wearpact Light provides reliable retention and improved safety through a top-down lock installation that keeps personnel away from hazardous pinch points. Its slimline design preserves bucket payload capacity, while its long wear life and self-sharpening shrouds deliver consistent digging performance throughout the campaign. The system also reduces material carryback, contributing to greater overall bucket efficiency.
The low-profile design concentrates wear material on the underside, minimising throw-away mass and maximising value for miners.
Wearpact Light is tailor engineered for smaller loaders, delivering the same proven performance in a lighter, leaner package. Underground operations can now enhance the advantages of Epiroc’s high-performance underground Scooptram loaders, designed with safety, reliability, serviceability, productivity, and operator comfort in mind, by improving dig penetration and reducing bucket wear for smaller LHDs.
"Increasing productivity is always a priority for our customers and a core goal for Epiroc. ST1030 and ST7 are well proven, reliable and appreciated loaders which has a high customer acceptance in the global market, now with the new developed Wearpact light GET, it will further enhance the efficiency of loader mucking, and prolong the continue use time between bucket maintenance and repair."
